Everyone talks about (or rather doesn't talk about) the infamous pink elephant in the room. One day in group it was suggested that it is better to think of yourself as the purple hippo in the room. After some thought the acronym came to life. While Shuwanna typically leads the group, we also can function as a member facilitated group from time to time. The group has been in existance since June 2005. We welcome new HIPPOs to join the "bloat".
